THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY

The two putti seated on a draped rockwork base and in playful dispute over an apple, one with a basket of fruit at his waist, signed 'PIGALLE' in the maquette

The oval rouge griotte marble base with beaded bronze border

20cm (8in) high, group
3.3cm (1¼in) high, base
23.5cm (9½in) wide


Condition:
Good. Two small (1mm max) drill holes to reverse. Polished rich dark brown patination.
